Despite the external negative factors, as a college student, we still need to focus on our study of professional courses so as to be more competitive in the job market, just as an old saying goes, "Study is like sailing against the current; either you keep forging ahead or you keep falling behind".

　　今天，一年一度的英語節(jié)在培德樓上的六樓報告大廳如火如荼的舉行了。

　　為了今天，我以前可是大下功夫，又是寫稿子，又是讓媽媽幫我認識新單詞，又是自己背稿子，終于等到了今天。

　　我自信滿滿的`走進大廳。媽呀！嚇死我了！這里居然聚集著這么多人。有五年級學生、老師、各年級的英語老師。嗯？還有兩個老外！看來，我今天得好好表現(xiàn)了，為自己、為班級而爭光。

　　比賽開始了，我是28號，也就是最后一名，我感受到我的心就像一個調(diào)皮的小精靈一樣，跳得七上八下的——好緊張。該我了，我走上臺，感到腿有點發(fā)軟，好像馬上就要癱在地上了一樣；手有一點發(fā)顫，好像馬上就要把話筒掉在地上一樣。當我看見兩位老外在默默地為我鼓掌時，我便又鼓起勇氣，繼續(xù)往下背。我的腿不再發(fā)軟了，我的手也不再發(fā)顫了，我的精神又飽滿起來。

　　因為我有一點拘謹，所以只得了二等獎。我很失望，因為我原來可以得到更高的分數(shù)，但我依然很開心，因為我體驗到了我以前從來沒有體驗過的感受，還受到了一個使我一生受益的啟發(fā)：只要有付出，就一定有回報。

　　英語是世界通用的語言，所以我一定要學好英語。長大為祖國增光添彩。
